Good food, right price, service was lightning fast when I went. It is on the street, but they have tables outside. I took it to go.
I did catering and the mover guys loved it all! The salsa is Soo good. Tacos, Rellenos, enchiladas also good.
The landscape special is the bomb. The food is really good. Fast service the ambient exterior outside so you're eating outside so it's really fresh air service service.
Chicken Tacos are the best! Fried tortilla chips and salsa a delightful bonus! Grab some and watch the Sunset on the Esplanade!
This is my daughter's favorite Mexican restaurant so we stopped by for a quick lunch. I ordered the Wet Burrito Deluxe with Chunks of beef, beans, cheese & their special sauce. It was delicious! And the perfect ratio of meat , beans and sauce. You also got chips and salsa with your order! Now, it's not a fancy place, you order at a window and either find a picnic table or take it to go. But the food is phenomenal! Definitely will be back for more!

My gosh! It has been years since I've been to this El Burrito Jr location but though it's been years; my recent visit proved that El Burrito Jr still is one of the best places to get a (gigantic burrito!). Interestingly enough my previous review in 2007 was about the Junior Deluxe Chicken Burrito. Today I was about to get the same thing but actually opted to get the Deluxe Chicken Burrito because it was only 50 cents more! ($10 for a Junior Deluxe and then $10.50 for a Deluxe! That is quite the deal!). By title alone; one can tell the Deluxe is well...deluxe! It's deluxe in size (perfect for 2 people or maybe even 3 hehe) and it's also deluxe in taste! It was filled with tender chicken, beans, cheese and rice and topped with guacamole, sour cream and special sauce. It is quite intense but in a good way. I love this location because it's one of the originals and I also love that is so close to the beach. Sun, fun and burritos....one more can a Southern California girl ask for :).
